Dogs are known, in general, to be extremely friendly creatures. I don’t know if I’ve encountered anyone who doesn’t like dogs. It’s like not liking pizza; it’s almost wrong. Dogs are not only friendly animals, but they’re typically very obedient of their owners. A huge reason for this, is because they read social cues from them.
If they see a mad look on their owner’s face, they know that they’ve generally done something wrong. This is why we see so many viral photos of owner’s shaming their dogs with signs, because they know from their masters’ reactions that they have misbehaved in some way. Try doing that with cats and see what happens! There are of course, some people that a dog will absolutely refuse to like.
Maverick is one of pretty much every dog that loves treats, and will accept them from anyone who is nearby. When Maverick’s owner offers him a treat, stating who the treat is from, he is happy to suck those treats down. There is an exception, though!
