The majority of humans are constantly conscious of how we present ourselves and how we are perceived by the rest of the world. Maybe it’s a good thing, but maybe it’s not. Cats, for example, have no semblance of this awareness, and they seem to be pretty darn happy, if you ask me! “I’m just trying to see what you look like upside-down!â€
It’s hard to imagine life without cats; ha, just kidding, we usually only see them a fraction of the time we’re home anyway, as they’re always off doing their own thing. In all reality, though, cats are incredible companions when they’re not being moody. They provide us with entertainment, cuddles, and someone to talk to when we’ve had a rough day. Unless you’re solely a dog person, these next photos are guaranteed to put a smile on your face! This cat was clearly raised right by its human parents!
Adopting an animal is a big deal; not only for the humans that are adopting the pet, but for the pet, itself. Many animals have terrible backgrounds unknown to us, and some have had good lives up until they were placed in a shelter. Regardless of their story, no one wants to be locked up, and adoption day is a happy day for all. Take a look at these before-and-after photos of animals getting adopted! Our pets are very present in our social media lives, although some pet parents just don’t understand their animals like others do. An artist named, Jimmy, seemingly has a wonderful grasp on what it’s like to be them. He shows the world what it would be like if we could understand animals each time they communicate with us. It turns out we may be better off not speaking the same language! Alright, maybe I’ll forgive you for those five wine glasses you broke.
We’re all so used to the grandiose displays of love shown in books and movies – sending love letters every day for a year, meeting them for the first time all the way across the country, running through crowded airports… the list goes on, and on.
